The Studio

Situated in beautiful Bishopdale, The Portrait Studio is upstairs in a central block of shops on Farrington Ave. It is easy to find and has two large carparks within a few metres of the front door. There is also a small playground downstairs in the mall – this is perfect should any of the smaller family members need to have a break while their new sibling is being photographed.

Bathed in natural light we can photograph you with or without extra lighting (though we do have lighting which imitates natural light too should we need it.)   This ensures your session is relaxing and calm, while the soft light is flattering for all skin types.

We offer a variety of wraps and subtle props for babies, as well a small amount of pretty dresses and props for mums and kids - these include headbands, flower crowns, tiny outfits and little rompers and dresses should you wish to add an element of romantic or vintage styling to your session.
